This picture shows a duplex built in 1950, which served as a rental unit for several decades. Watch the progression as this old duplex is transformed into a very custom single family home. Originally the duplex was built on a slab foundation at ground level. It was necessary to install a floor system on a crawl space to raise the level of the floor due to current FEMA flood regulations. Included in the renovation is a garage addition, and the addition of a beautiful master bedroom suite with an upper screened porch off the master bedroom. The first level of the remodel called for several change orders making the kitchen even larger than first planned. Gorgeous custom cabinets and accents of carrara marble tile, and a very large custom pantry made for a truly stunning kitchen. The flooring was done in light hickory that made the entire home warm and inviting, as well as the stained wood doors throughout. Later on an addition of an outdoor entertainment area was done which included a custom brick-stone veneer fireplace, along with an outdoor kitchen and custom bar and cabinets! This remodel turned into an extraordinary custom renovation!
